Preservation

The invention of manufactured diamond was the product of our founders. Dependency on traditional mining for the superabrasive industry was relieved, allowing for the preservation of our natural resources while abandoning our reliance on Mother nature. Diamond Innovations constantly monitors our energy and materials consumption versus our volume of non-reusable waste.

Recycling

Diamond Innovations has recycled over 10,000,000 pounds of waste generated in all of our facilities since 2010. Recycling programs are encouraged throughout the company and is facilitated by the presence of many recycling stations on each site.

Reduction in Solid Waste

While solid waste is difficult to eliminate in our industry, making conscious efforts to manage our non-reusable waste is possible with the commitment of our employees and some creativity. Diamond Innovations depended on both ingredients to decrease its solid waste by 28% in 2010.

Other improvements

Natural gas usage has decreased by 2% and usage of electricity went down by 15% since the beginning of 2010.

Chlorinated Solvents
Each of our facilities is chlorinated solvent free.
